Transmission Whine issue

Hey guys, searched around to see if there were any threads that answered this question but couldn't find any. I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out why my transmission is whining and how to fix it. It whines while under load and especially loud when I accelerate in 1st/2nd gear. Any idea what might be causing this guys

? Any input would be appreciated

Usually the front main or counter shaft bearings... Worst case the gears are worn out enough to cause meshing noise.

This isn't too uncommon, Find a KA trans and swap bellhousings. I've had to do this twice for similar reasons.

Yeah my SR transmission whines like a b**** too... And I have a B&M short shifter and those are rumored to make more noise. But like Seishuku said, it's probably your (our) bearings...

my sr transmission 3rd got noise while doing some burnouts but i had ca18 transmission just changed bell housing its holding f9 ca18 are quite strong and ive been throwing power since day one still holding tight
