Just started slipping in and out of gear, I have an auto transmission in my 89 240sx ka24e, any idea how much a used one would cost or a 5sp with everything needed for swap?

my friends auto 240 went out and he searched around and found someone doing an auto-manual swap and he picked up their auto transmission for $90 shipped. he got very lucky, just look around, you will find something. good luck.

When my transmission went out a rebuilt one would have cost around $2500! The place I took it to charged me $1800 to rebuild it. If I were you, I would scour to the ends of the earth before taking it in!!! You have a computer--which is the BEST way to find anything and everything!
