Can you describe the problem in more detail so we can troubleshoot it?

Yea def need more info. If it is in "limp mode" I would assume there is a check engine light with codes associated with it. More info please, until then, i'm going with a pulled hamstring :gotme

yes the ck. engine light was on I ck. the transmission fluid it's full but smell little funny I was coming from Austin Texas when the car slow down from about 80 mph. to 60 and could not increase my speed for two or three miles and then speed was 70mph but when I made a pit stop it was slow about taken off so it is still moving slow, I view a somewhere on the net about the transmission getting hot and was told to put a cooler on it by the dealer and that it was in limp mode, I hope that's enough info.

I would run a diagnostic scan and see why the light was on. Your transmission shouldn't be that hot, and if it is getting that hot there is something wrong, and a trany cooler won't fix the problem. My transmission gets around 260 270 degrees when I'm pushing the car, I've had it up to 330 on a hill climb with warning chimes on the bully dog and never seen a "limp mode" occur. In my past experiences I've never seen a car go into limp mode for a transmission issue, just engine related (secondary air, egr flow, misfire issues usually from coil or ignition control modules). Also never really ran into a car that needed a tyranny cooler, most I sold were to replace leaky ones that were on cars as original equipment. I questions the dealers advice, and like I said, I would do a scan and figure out what code was thrown, then back track from there. Right now we are not even sure it's the transmission. I would put lack of power on the engine, unless the trany was shuddering or something like that.
