Welcome Schnorchel.

Sorry 'bout the football teams defeat yesterday. I was chearing for them to win the World Cup.

Anyhow... Welcome to NICO. We will def. be able to help you out.

I see that you've posted this request in a couple different places. That is fine.. but you've missed the most important place.. NICO Classifieds.

If I were you, I would post a "WTB" (Want to Buy) thread in the nissan parts section. There are a lot of people on this board that do 5 spd conversions. The left over automatic transmissions are in very low demand, so you should have no trouble finding people willing to sell you theirs for a small fee. Shipping on the other hand... will be a bit expensive.

Good luck with your search. I have no doubt you will easily find all the parts you need.

Stick around here on the 'vert forum. Nice to see members from all over the globe.

Hi !

Thank you for your welcome Thats good. I hope i will find an auto transmission soon The shipping would be very expensive, but its much better than buy it here in Germany. I friend of mine in a Nissan shop can get it new for about 3500€thats a bit too much First i search for the number of the transmission, because my mechanic is possibly able to repair it when he has the number to get the parts. Are there any differences between the years? Mine is first registration 11/93Thats it

Thanks Jens

Nice car!!!

I know you will find a transmission on this site pretty cheap. But, if for some reason you can't... or you are impatient... here is a link to a salvage yard website that has them for a little as $250 US. You can call or email them and ask for shipping quotes, etc... http://car-part.com/cgi-bin/se...age=3

You will want to make sure you get one from a 91 or newer since the KA24DE is the engine you have. The KA24E from previous will have the same transmission, but with different sensors.. So it would be easiest to get one from 91-94. I think...

I stopped a Nissan dealer at lunch to pick up a couple things... I asked him about the part # - 31020-45X64

Like I said.... post a thread in the classifieds section. zeroforum/43

You should have no problem getting one from another member pretty cheap. Hopefully that member will be willing to help you get it shipped out.

Here's another guy that has lots of parts available.. Powerline.zer...36959
