have any of guys had your transmission replaced or rebuilt? Im not sure if i want to rebuild mine yet .. Is there any ways to see if one of your gears are wearing out without pulling the whole thing out?

Usually what goes bad on your m/t are your syncros. I know for chevys they have rebuild kits that come with books. Pretty easy to do a basic rebuild. Dunno bout 240's though :-\. Look around for a book.

So either way.. i have to take out the transmission to inspect it? no quickie way?
