Does anyone know if the 5 speed from a hardbody truck will work in a 720 with the Z24 engine?

The 1987 thru ???? did use the same Z24 engine but EFI, so it should bolt up. I have been told that king cabs have a different length transmission than the regular cabs. Let us know what you find out.

I found one in an 87 hardbody. The cross match manuals at the junk yard showed it would fit. Will post back after we get it out and let all know if it fits.
