I bought a replacement KA from an automatic and I am putting it in mycar which is a 5 speed. Anyway my question is how do I go about removing the automatic adapter bearing?

i used a 13mm impact socket and pounded it into the middle of the bearing and then wiggled it out

with 10k miles it is uneccessary unless there is major play in the part or damage/noise. i use a slidehammer to remove.
