transmission speedometer pinion gear

i have a 95 240sx .i installed a set of 4.63 gears in it. nissan no longer carries replacement speedometer gears to adjust for change. gears for the s-13 are available. are the 5 speeds in the s-14 and 13 the same

all ka24de transmissions are similar enough that i imagine it would be interchangable. i have no way to verify this assumtion though. i can only think that if nissan motorsport went to the trouble of listing s13 and s14 pinions seperately(and discontinued only the latter) they must be different. one way to find out would be to get your hands on an s13 speedo sensor and compare to yours(stock for stock). this might be as simple as going to every parts place including the dealer in your area and saying, "i need to compare this to 19XX 240sx speedo sensor".
