transmission specs and performance data

I have a 97 infinit j30t I pulled the engine transmission and rear carrier, I was considering twin turdo charging the drive train but it going in a shelby cobra kit car replica, any help will be most appreciated.Mac

the transmission is mostly what I need info on. the tag on it is jatco corp 44x18 6x46123calso what are all the sensors on this thing G/C!!!!!!is there a guru out there to help????

That is the actual model number for the transmission and where it was used...Q45 Tech knows a lot about the transmission, just search around the net also, should find what you need.

personally...if I were building a kit car, I'd swap with a ZX TT 5-speed

If you want to stick with an auto get the transmission the Q45 and 300ZX TT use.Twin turbo will go though the transmission pretty quick ..

The 01A [J30] is speced at a limit of 245 lb/ft whereas the 03A can survive 310 lb/ft stock. Thanks to ignition retard prior to, during, and progressive ramp up after shifts.

if I use a carb 3.0 with the transmission do I need to have all the sensors connected or can the transmission function without the sensors.Thanks againMac
