Transmission snychros

I was just wonder around how much would it be to fix the snychros in a transmission. my problems are, when i shift at semi to high rpms going from first to second mainly and sometimes 2nd to 3rd it grinds. but when drive i shift to were it donesn't grind at all not to cause anymore problems. One last question should i change to slave at the same time?

A while back a asked almost the same question, as i was haveing the exact same problem..

I was told that to replace the syncros would be more money than getting one with lower k from the wrecker or something. I went to the transmission shop and they told me i would be better off getting a used transmission and getting some quality oil and it would be cheaper and last longer.
