Wayne at this point I wouldnt be too worried.I am certain your symtpoms are unconnected to your earlier hard driving.Others drive like that all the time.
Is this your exact symptom? When driving between 45-68 mph on even terrain, gently accelerating a strong shudder appears or when holding speeds in that range but going slightly uphill?
It just happens that at that exact load+revs your transmission is bouncing between locking up the TC and unlocking it, it can;t decide, because the load is right at the border between the 2 requirements.
I had a car that did that when i bought it 2.5 years ago, still does, has extra 30,000 miles of <hard> driving since then on same transmission ( driven by good friend now who really uses the hi end of the tach and speedo)
Some say varnish on valve bodies may cause this, others say engine may be down ever so slightly from spec where its supposed to be at those revs, so TCU is about to switch the lock-up TC off, when it does the revs rise a bit and the power is there to go back, to TC lock-up.
The most common solution is to leave car in "3" instead of "D" at slower speeds. Not a bad idea regardless anyway.Since you reduce lugging on engine and TC that way.Until I got my level ten transmission and 4.11 rear diff, I always left all my Q's in "3" in urban environment , up to 65 mph or so, for more power, some engine braking , less lugging on engine and transmission and better (=more, due to revs) ATF flow.
