transmission replacment

hi all, can anyone help me replace a trans in my 99 QX4? i need instuctions how to remove and install. thanks.

man thats probably the single hardest thing to do to your car. pay a professional 3500

Seriously. If you don't already know how to take out a transmission, DON'T. You're likely to spend upwards of 40-50 hours to remove and install.

IIRC, the FSM says to take the entire engine and transmission out in one piece and replace it that way.

Just search for a cheap rebuilt and pay someone to install or pay a shop to rebuild yours for you. This isn't a job even for an intermediate home mechanic.
