What does repairing a broken ground on a transmission solenoid entail?

re-grounding it....

wanna hint at what transmission'/car your dealing with?automatic yes?

I understand that it needs to be regrounded. I am looking more for how complicted is it to get to the ground wire ect.

yeah, I get that.....

We have no idea what kind of car you have, and what transmission you are working with...

Different transmission are....different.

have you looked up an FSM for you car, it should have exploded views of the trans so you can see what your dealing with.

Anyways its probably on the outside of the case, so depending it could be anywhere from just having to get under the car and plug something back in, to having to drop the transmission to get access to something to and do some soldering...Again actually give us info on whats going on we might be able to tell you something specific...

You may also want to check out the Nissan mechanic section, or the infinti mech. section....But please if your looking for us to help give us as much info as possible.
