Anybody have a step by step how-to on transmission removal?

I guess its similar to 240sx

-Jack car up, drain transmission fluid-disconnect all sensors-remove bell housing bolts-remove transmission mount-remove drive shaft-lower transmission down to ground

Does the drive shaft have to be disconnect from rear diff? or can it be just diconnect from transmission and stay bolted to diff?

How hard is it to remove the top bellhousing bolts? can all be reached from bottom?

If you're just pulling the transmission to replace the clutch, you do not have to drain the fluid. Just unbolt the slip yoke section of the driveshaft which goes into the gear housing and leave it in the transmission, should be three bolts, and that way the fluid won't come pouring out.

The top bellhousing bolts can be reached using extensions, universals will make it easier.Other than that, you should be good

The transmission is blown and I will be swapping in a used one.
