Transmission rebuild or ....?

So I have an automatic 240 that has had 2 transmissions. When i bought the car it would rev up in P, D , 1, ect, but would'nt go anywhere. I replaced it and the other day i rounded a corner and it just reved up and now this one is doing the same as the first. Can anyone help?

i think its because you dont have a 5 speed swap in it LOL no do you beat on your car/ like doin nutral slams and stuff.

i mean you could have snapped the gear that spins 1st,2nd,3rd,4th gears

^I agree, because you don't have a 5 speed is your problem. Or at least a 5 speed would fix this problem.

Very few auto transmissions are worth rebuilding. Unless you're going to do some high power drag racing and want to rebuild the auto trans for drag racing... I'd say look into a 5 speed swap.

Well thats what my intentions were to do but i don't know. And no i havent been ragin my car out. It just "died". iono
