Ok my transmission....grabs fine....goes into gear fine.....doesnt grind unless i have a crappy shift....buttttttt it has started to whine alittle you can barely hear it unless your listing for it due to my exhaust i think it would sound louder if i had stock exhaust.....it rattles some times when im in low rpms and its like i can here all the gears....but if i turn on my music loud and cant here any of the noise i would never think the trans is bad so do i have a problem and if sooo im thinking about rebulding it....are there any rebuild kits out there good but wont break me....and i have a shop that does all my stuff cheap how many labor hours do you think it would take to rebuild mine and can any one give me a estimate on the total cost of all this and any cheaper solutions

one month ago i drained it and put in redline mt90

Rebuilding it may run you more money. I would look into getting a new transmission and swapping it in.

Im not sure if there are any rebuild kits. I would check with Z1, COZ etc... to see if there are any.

I checked Z1, but couldnt find a NA 5spd transmission. I did find their conversion package. Ovbiously, you would only need the transmission. But that runs for 1825$ If you are only looking for the transmission, the cost would be less. And its a used transmission. Here is the link:http://www.z1motorsports.com/p...=1877

If you were looking for a brand new 5 spd, they offer the 98 jspec transmission for 1795$. Here is the link:http://www.z1motorsports.com/p...=1684

I havent checked other website, but you should check them before purchasing. I know that Z1 charges a bit more, so I would look to the other websites before spending, you may save a few bucks.

Have you checked the classified section?

Hope this helps.
