Where can I get one from? I'm searching google, sponsors etc. but not finding anything specific (or I'm overlooking all of the retarded links).

My transmission has probs such as:It was stuck in gear(either 3rd or 5th), the shifter was locked out of all gears except 4th-reverse...(5th gear and reverse would not engage AT ALL) I took off the shifter plate and looked in, to me it looked bone dry...(we just put in 2qts when we changed the clutch.)

I added another quart, turned on the car, let it warm up, wiggled the shifter around and after the oil circulated the shifter went into all the gears. But 5th and reverse STILL won't engage and there is a grinding sound when the clutch is engaged in neutral, 5th, and reverse.

So, I'm thinking my syncros are gone, and I should rebuild the transmission, if only I could find a kit and get it ordered A.S.A.P. ( I NEED my car back on the road.)

help?

it'd probably be cheaper just to find a used transmission for 100 or so dollars. that's what i do when i replace mine.

last time my transmission went out, i wasnt able to use 1,2 and 3. all others worked

or just find a ka transmission since sr ones are tougher to find, and just swap the sr bellhousing onto the ka transmission.

it's only like 12 or so bolts to remove to get the bellhousing off, and one c clip. you'll figure it out
