transmission question

hey i have a 94 300zx na 2+2 and was wondering if it is normal that the trnsmission gets super hot and you can feel it threw the inside of the car? just wondering cuz i changed my clutch and flywheel like a little over a year ago and was thinking thats the problem or i need to change transmission fluid

The trans shouldn't get that warm, unless it's out of fluid. It's likely the exhaust.

it is more likely your catalytic converters (exhaust). They get pretty hot and yes, it is normal to feel heat through the cabin/have a hot shifter when driving hard as the stock cats are right under the shift linkage.
