Transmission question

I want to do a 5 speed swap but yet I want to swap out my engine for the DOHC KA. Would the SOHC 5 speed transmission work with the DOHC KA? I'm a noob and really don't know much yet about my 240 but I'm beginning to learn.

yes...you can even use a s14 trans, just dont use a crank sensor, or an SR trans just swap out the bell housing for a KA bell housing....

well just stick with a ka trans

Nissan used the same transmission in a few of their cars in that era

300zx,240s, Silvia's, some older skylines( i believe)
