transmission problems

my transmission worked perfectly before i put it on the engine, and know it is stuck in gear, its in the nuetral position, but still stuck in gear, i now have the transmission pulled and i am clueless on what to do, is it worth taking to a shop, or should i buy another one?please help me out!!

If the transmission has warranty, i would take it back and replace it.

But if you dont, i would just buy another one. transmission shops are just too expensive now and days.

And if you do buy another transmission, keep that one that you have right now and open it up and see what is wrong with it. It will save you big money on labor. That way you can keep it, just in case. Or you can sell it. Its all up to you bud.!
