Alright guys I was driving last night and then the trasmission started getting hard to shift gears. I was able to make it home, and this morning I got up to go to school and when I went to take off the transmission woulndn't go into any gears. So I turned the car off and the the transmission goes into to all the gears easy. Anybody have any suggestions on what it could be? I would really appreciate all the help.

well i assume its a 5 speed and what i would think is, if it goes into gear with out power to the transmission(engine not running) and wont go into gear with power to the transmission(engine off) i would think the clutch or clutch component would be your problem. reason being that normaly a manual transmission doesnt just go out, the syncros do witch normaly just means its hard to shift not imposible. so the only real way to no is to disasymble. let me know what u find> good luck

Is it possible that the clutch is bad? I started the car in first and let out the clutch peadal slowly and the car die out. Does that mean the clutch is good?

It has the stock shifter. Does is sound like a internal problem in the trans?

Check your fluid level in the master cylinder first off. Them check and make sure your master and slave cylinders are working properly. This really doesn't sound like a prob. with the trans. itself.

The fluid level is full and when the clutch pedal is pressed you can see the slave cylinder pushing the clutch fork. Is it possible throwout bearing?

I have no idea, it started acting up friday night. I started it sunday morning and it just went into the gears fine. I have no clue.
