Transmission Problems

Over the past couple days, i have had occasional problems with getting the shifter into 4th gear. It would go halfway, but no further. If i let up on the clutch, it would grind, obviously. It started happening quite a bit today, when i was out. Sometimes it would shift fine, other times it would act up. When it wont go into gear, if i put it in neutral and let off the clutch, the transmission will 'clunk'. then usually it'll go into gear next time i try, but then again sometimes it wont.

Then there was a time when i had the car in neutral and started to let off of the clutch, and the car started to stall/creep forward as if it were in gear. pushed in the clutch and put it in gear the back out, and it was fine.

and the last one, about 20 minutes ago after i got home from work. slowed down pullin up to my driveway, turned left so i could back into the garage, and put it in reverse. let up on the clutch and gave it gas so i could reverse, and nothing was happening, then all of a sudden i guess it jammed into gear and away i went.

WTF? i have no clue? fluid?
