transmission problem, hard to get into 1st gear.

heres my problem when i come to a dead stop its hard for me to get into first gear, and it would also make a loud winding noise, and i can feel a vibration in both shifter and clutch pedal. for me to get into first gear i would have to shift it into what ever gear i can get into then it would let me go into first gear, but also it would make a loud noise when i start to get the car rolling from 1st or reverse. any ideas what could cause it?

Mine was getting hard to get into first. It would also grind when making quick shifts. I changed the transmission oil and it is much better now. Maybe the fluid is low? Sorry I am not of more help.

I am too having the same problem with my 240. Just replaced the clutch, master and slave. (slave had to replace twice now bcuz of defective ones) anyways its been fine for the first week or so but now I am getting the same problem as Kamikazee.

Hard to get into 1st and reverse...loud dropping noise, at times it would grind...Anyone with any input would help me out greatly as well as Kami

You need new transmissions - both of you - or a rebuild
