Ok so i recently bought this car about 2 weeks ago. At the time it wasnt a problem but now it has just come up. So some specs on the car. The PO replaced the slave cylinder as well as a brand new clutch and flywheel. No new master cylinder though. My problem is that usually when i have come to a complete stop (say at a red light) Its really rough to get into first. Alot of times i have to punch it in or give it alot of muscle then once it slides into place, i feel a hard grind, then it will pop in. It happens a few times in 3rd as well, not that it wont go in but it just grinds into it. wondering if maybe I need some new trani fluid or oil. I am not too sure. Its not a real problem but that grinding does scare me a bit as to what it could become in the future.
On a side note I have a rough idle. I know theres millions of posts on it but i figured while i have your attention, maybe you could answer another question i had. Ive checked my throttle cable the first time i looked at the engine and it was a bit loose, so i tightened it up, thinking that it would fix the problem, but its still there. Alot of times it can be aggressive. It usually flutters between 500-1000. Never quits on my though, yet. I have checked the vaccum lines around the throttle body and I found 2 that had no suction to them. Dont know if that could be problem or not. Anyways, tomorrow is my only day off of work to have a look at my car So any input is greatly appreciated on these 2 subjects. Thanks
