Transmish probs with 06 M35 (RWD)
Similar to acceleration pedal sensor prob without car hicking up...
Car is not accelerating properly and received codes from autozone
P1754 P1757 P1759
Front brake solenoid valves
I/C solenoid valve

Took to infiniti dealer and 2 mechanic shops... All came to conclusion it's Transmission.. Best option from anyone's experience to rebuild current or replace with used transmission?.

How many miles and when did you replace the transmission oil? In all three dtcs i noticed ATF pressure switch could be the cause. Perhaps the oil level is so low? Do you know how to check the ATF level?

Rebuilt is probably the best way to go reliability wise. Financially used, however you inherit the donors transmission issues (If any).

Have they attempted to reseat/inspect the TCM connectors? I would ask them because that is another potential cause.

Taking the transmission oil pan off is a good start to investigate the oil, any stains left on the pan and to see if the magnets picked up any particles. Then reseat the sensors and tcm. Replace the gaskets and oil. That would be something i would attempt to perform before a rebuild.

We have found that nearly always P1757 and P1759 (and limp mode as a result) are signs that there is an electrical issue in the valve body. We always inspect EXternal wiring, but it seems that it invariably is INternal to the valve body. Even small amounts of moisture seem to make these valve bodies act up. Thankfully the transmission going into 'limp' mode generally prevents folks from destroying their transmission internals.

As part of replacing the valve body we flush the transmission of course.
So far we are about 7-1 in being able to save customer's transmissions with just the valve body and a flush. Continuing to drive the vehicle while in limp mode is asking for more expensive trouble.

Hi kurt thanks for your expertise.. So I have p1757 in limp mode on a 08 g35... I wanted to ask what you mean by invaribly internal to the valve body ? As mine is removed and the corresponding solenoid to that code (front brake band #4) has 0 ohms . And is thus not working ...So do ou think thats all thats wrong if I were to replace just that solenoid or is it tcm as well ?
