Hello all,
I am a newbee in the market for my second Q. I've learned plenty by lurking here - great resource. I have found a nice 91 that has had the chain guides replaced at the dealer and has 32,000 miles on a replaced transmission (also done at the dealer). I am reviewing the service records and they indicate the the customer recently brought in the car complaining that "transmission will bang in gear hot/cold, this happens intermittently. Customer declined repairs"
Obviously I plan to ask the seller about this, but does this sound familiar to anyone? I know it's vague info, but it's all I have right now. My concern is that per this forum the transmission can be a source of problems.
Thanks for your help,91QAZ
