hey i recently upgraded to royal purple engine oil on my s13, and ive been thinking about doing a transmission oil change. I thought its reasonable to do a transmission oil change since i just want to make it shift smooth. I was thinking about running royal purple's synchromax. but i was just wondering, what transmission oil weight do i use? isnt it like 75w90 ?

& i also got a new coolant tank. its one of those weapon R coolant tank reserves. i was just wondering since my old one was cracked, in order to replace it should i flush the old coolant from the radiator and all?or can i just put it on and put new coolant in it. [btw there is no coolant in the tank whatsoever]

thanks!

Doesn't really answer your question but, don't waste your money on Royal Purple. You have a KA.

Even Mobil 1 synthetic from Walmart (what I just used) is probably overkill. RP is some expensive stuff and using it on a KA is just throwing money down the drain.

if you are going to be swapping out the tank you might as well flush the radiator. its always a good thing to do once in a while.

as for the trans oil you can find many threads about. most prefer reline trans fluid
