Well, I've found the source of the oil leak on my 5-speed. There's a red hose running from the back of the transmission toward the front. The part toward the front is hanging down in mid air. That end has a j-shaped fitting on it w/ a bracket that has a bolt hole trhough it on the fitting. Apparently Haynes doesn't make a manual for the 240SX (or so they said at the parts store) and there isn't a Nissan dealer within 60 miles of here. Can somebody tell me where this line is supposed to go, or better yet scan a shop manual page and e-mail it to me? My address is [email protected] . Thanks.

p.s. The line is on the passenger's side.

Well, for anybody who might need to know in the future, it seems it's just a vent tube, and I had overfilled (I didn't have anything to take the snap ring off the shifter, so I had to fill w/ the shifter in the car). It's not a high pressure line, but just a silicone hose, so I don't think it's any kind of supply line.
