my 90 Q has a transmission malfunction light come up every once in a while on startup, then it goes away, so i did the diagnostic test and found out that it was because of the throttle sensor (code 3) i checked the sensor and all circuits related using the manual, i checked just about everything i could to find out whats wrong, the only thing didnt speck out was the A/T control unit, when i meaured the voltage across terminal 34 and 35, my readings where : 10V at throttle closed, 0 when open, the specs are soposed to be 0.5 closed and 4v open i belive, what can cause this problem?

Swap in your spare TCU. On a 18 year old Q good to have a complete set of spare electronic modules.............all 20+ of them covering every system.
