Recently I let my younger brother take my car out to drop off some friends and when I drove it after he brought it to me , the engine revs would drop drastically during acceleration on Drive mode . When I put it on slap shift mode the loss of power does not happen. I'm planning on changing the ATF this Friday as I get paid by then , I've been reading around and was wondering if the Torque Converter can be the cause of issue or if my transmission is going out?
