I've got a 06 Coupe and for the last few weeks, every now and then, i catch it jerking in/out of park. It has 15k miles. Anyone have this issue?

Can you explain a bit more about your issue. It sounds similar to what my truck had which ended up to be a break light switch found on the stop pedal. Even though this part is not expensive you should take it to the dealership just in case it is not what I am talking about; if you car is not under warranty, explaining a bit more could help others figure it out .

I'd have the dealer look at it...use the warranty!

If I park on a hill and put the trans in park, the car rolls a little and kind of locks it in park. It is more difficult to get out of park when I do that. Is this what you mean? Now I put the ebrake on first and let that hold the car and I don't have the problem.

I live in Indiana. There are no hills. Like I said before, sometimes im in park and I shift into reverse and it lags then after a second or two it will shift into reverse. When that happens its like somonw hit the front end of the car. Its hard to describe other than tramission failure. My friend has a 99 accord that basically does the same thing. So I'm a bit worried. Sorry for the crappy post. I posted from my car, on my iPhone. URGH.

Definately take it to the dealer. That does sound like an actual transmission issue.

The only other thing I can think of is possible that you have corrosion on some of your ground wires.

I don't know if you can check the trans fluid level on the G or not. But it soulds like you may be a little low. Might have that checked by the dealer when you take it in.

Oh, sorry for the lack of hills in Indiana. We've got hills, mountains, deserts, beaches and ---wait, we have too many people, disregard this sentence.

Here's my question to you. Do you wait until the car is done moving in reverse before putting it into drive? Be honest, because if you don't that very well could be why.

yeah, I definately wait. I'm pretty careful to give cars enough time to respond before I mash the pedal. In this case, if I'mpulling out of my parking spot, I'll just put it into R then wait. I never give the car gas when in reverse unless I'm on a steep decline. She's going in on Friday for a checkup.

at the time, it was 30k for an 06 6mt with 20k miles OR 29k for a 06 auto with 300 miles. I'm ok with what I got. I get compliments all the time on the color.

Yup, nice color but with only 300 miles, it must have been stuck in park for a long time?

My Guess would have been that your transmission fluid is low/dirty or possibly the differential fluid...but it doesnt seem like you have a lot of miles on your car yet.
