As some of you may know, I've had some Throttle Position sensor problems as well as a few others over the past few weeks, as seen here: zer...age=1

Well, I recently had a used, low-mileage TPS put in to try and solve the problem, and had it set to .44 volts as recommended. After picking it up, it shifted much much smoother and seemed to have better acceleration. The trip home was about 8 miles away and after getting off the highway, it started to do its usual whining again. It whines and shows signs of I guess "slipping" where the RPM's keep going up, but it's a real dog to shift and real slow on acceleration. Other times, it runs perfectly with no hesitations or lack of power during acceleration. I've come to the conclusion that the CEl light comes back on and it begins to whine when stepping on the gas a little harder going up a hill and such. I just cleaned my throttle body completely and put a new fuel filter in. I heard this could be solved by replacing the external transmission filter. Please comment. Thank you.

Maybe, but I am under the impression the ext. filter goes into bypass if clogged? I would certainly drop pan and be sure internal screen is not clogged with bits of failing transmission parts.

What do you mean by bypass? Do you know the symptoms? Also the "SLIP" light comes on intermittently during the hard 1-2gear shifts if that helps at all.
