Recently my infiniti M35 2007 that I had for five years hesitates when taking taking off. The problem started two days ago and now its getting worst. Today I was at the traffic light, I applied the brakes and the car cames to a complete stop. The car refused to take off regardless of the amount of gas applied or the rev of the engine. I was told by my mechanic that there is a DC solenoid within the transmission that needs to be replaced but I cannot find this part anywhere. Has anyone ever experience this problem????

I need help. Anyone knows what this part is??????

I think dtc codes are required. The only solenoid i can see is for the transfer clutch plate but thats for awd versions and that wouldnt cause hesitation. It could be the speed sensor or even something not related such as a plugged catalytic. Describe the acceleration in more detail. Does it rev but not move? What is the maximum it revs if in neutral?

the maximum revs is over 3000 rpm. Once you push the car then the acceleration begins to build slowly. Once the speed builds to the point where the gear can change, the gear change is far from smooth. It feels like I am breaking something when the gear in the Automatic Transmission changes. I am not sure of the code number but the scanner stated that its DC solenoid which I now know is located somewhere in the oil pan. I don't kno the part numbers for these solenoids. I am trying to locate these?

Solenoids are rarely the issue. Check that troubleshooting guide for steps to determine the issue. In either case shops may still consider opening your transmission a rebuild even if its simply to review the connectors, wires, switches then replace. What im concerned for you about is that if it is in fact a damaged wire to the dc solenoid what caused that? Was there something else that broke and cut or compressed the wire? No one knows unless you open it up.

I got the mechanic to check and it seems that the DC solenoid and the pressure switch may be the cause since both codes came up P1764 and then P1845 atf pressure switch 5. The harness wire leading to the solenoid are good.
Hi svard75 thanks for your imput. That info was a lifesaver.

Glad to be of assistance. I hope this is the last repair you go through for a very long time :)
