**PROBLEM FIXED, POST AT BOTTOM**

The car has been parked for a couple weeks now,Last night I took it out, 1st & 2nd gear are fine, then 3rd 4th and 5th all grind when I hit the gas in gear.

It's not grinding going in, or staying in, just when I hit the gas in gear. the engine free revs fine too

A few months ago I put in jgs mounts, and this month I'll be putting a new clutch in, but...

is my transmission fu****?

its a manual, and it stays in gear, but grinds and vibrates the hell out of the car when you hit the gas.

Jack the car up and see what kind of shape the bushing that connects driveshaft-transmission. Mine is pretty tore up and might be why it's making all this noise. I'll post results tomorrow when I install it

turns out it was the 6 bolt bushing that connects the transmission to the driveshaft. it was tore up pretty bad.

the cause might have been from coming from a very very soft oem transmission mount and the added stress from putting in jgs poly motor and transmission mounts.
