Transmission gear hunt

Any body know if they make and where to get a secand gear for a manual trans 1989 240 of a 1.7 ratio?

FRom what I have learned transmition gears need to be replaced in pairs because the gear teath need to wear together, wich means you would have to replace 2nd main and second counter...If im not mistaken the second counter is part of the counter shaft (as least on the transmitions Ive seen) wich means to replace 2nd counter 1st 3rd and possibly even 5th counter would have to be replaced as well...so all those gears on the main shaft would need replacement...they do make close ratio gears though check out spl parts...lots of money though, funny how racing works that way...
