how much transmission fluid do i put in a 92 Q .just put in new transmission and i think i need more but how much more do i need i put in about 4 qt

You have to add more due to torque converter not sure if its one or two.

The pan holds about 5 quarts... I put in 3 quarts, wasnt enough, 4 quarts wasnt enough, .5 quart and its still a little low but in the hashmarks..... better a tiny low than a tiny high!!!!

Just have a mechanical exchange done and be over with it, that way you have nice fresh fluid in your new trans!!!

Agree. Bring 14 qts of good synthetic, unless current fluid fails the white paper towel test miserably. Then bring 14 more of regular ATF (same brand) for intital flush/fluid exchange. Must replace filter and gasket along with one time use bolts used to secure pan.

Of course you can't drive it if it is too low.
