transmission fluid question for my i30n 96

should I change my transmission fluid? it is brown/blackish..i read and I was told not to change the fluid after 100k even if its that color. cuz the transmission gets used to that fluid and people who have changed it after 100k seem to have problems? any help would be great

How many miles exactly do you have?

I have done flushes in cars with 130k+ and not had any problems whatsoever. I would not reccomend it if you are currently having problems with hard shifts or the transmission is shuddering.
