Hello All,

I took my car in for the fuel sensor recall. I also asked the dealer to look into the transmission software, as it's shifting funny sometimes. They got back to me today and told me the car had too much trans fluid from the factory. How much? Almost 1 quart too much. It was causing line-pressure issues with my torque converter which caused some of the odd shifting behaviors I would occasionally see.

I highly suggest everyone look into this.

How did they check, was there a dipstick? Did they open the fill hole and see fluid come out?

Yeah, they checked the fill hole first and realized it was spilling out. So they drained it, and refilled. And checked again.
