I have a 1990 240sx hatch with a redtop sr20 connected to a ka automatic transmission, the other day the trans blew, I planned on doing a 5spd conversion so I guess now is the time to do it, I can get a ka 5spd but I don't know if the driveshaft will fit, the one that is on the car now I also have a driveshaft from my manual s14. Can anyone help me?

What are you even asking? First off.....if you get a ka trans, you need to swap the bell housing to even make it fit on the sr motor. Then, if you use a 5 speed trans, you need a 5 speed shaft. The KA and SR shafts are the same, just need to match auto-auto and manual-manual shaft and trans combo.

KA/SR driveshafts are the same but S13 and S14 driveshafts are different along with ABS and non ABS vehicles.
