Transmission DipStick on 03

Does 2003 G35 sedan have a dip Stick for checking transmission oil or does the oil have to be checked at the dealer only. What I see behind the engine is a tube which has a plastic cap and believe the transmission oil has to be checked from there. Service manual says to check the oil with a special tool number J45475. Is this tool something like a dip stick or a special tool?

Note : My car is really one of the early (in first 8K manufactured) ones made in 02 as an 03 model.

Also can you buy a dipstick from the dealer and check it yourself as you can do in most other cars.

some g35s have a dipstick and some dont... remove the 10mm bolt that holds down the cap and pull it out...if you have a dipstick then yay lol...if you pull it out and it looks like a little metal stub then you'd have to go to the dealer
