I was planning to get my winter tires mounted today and when i started pulling out of my driveway I see a huge puddle of transmission fluid. So i pushed my car back up my driveway, which wasn't as easy task, into the garage. I pull the lower cover off and see my transmission cooler line just hanging there with the fitting from the radiator. I decided to install an external transmission cooler since i didnt see coolant leaking. When i finished mounting the external cooler i go back under the car and now i begin to see coolant leaking. I have a new radiator on the way, which i get to install tommorow evening. I'm actually really lucky this happened to me on my driveway and not 50 km away where i get my tires.

I haven't read of this happening to anyone here but thought i would post up what happen to me this morning.

Wow, sounds like a bit of bad luck. You haven't had it in the shop lately, have you? Or maybe made anyone angry? External cooler is never a bad idea though.

Do you off-road much? I don't know how low your trans cooler lines are, but if it's anything like the Z, also with a VG engine, then they're way down at the bottom. May have taken a ding. However, if the fitting was just hanging off the radiator, sounds like someone is playing a cruel joke and sabotaged your vehicle. You would have noticed a trail of trans fluid out of the driveway I would think.
