Transmission Cable - 5speed to 6 speed swap

Does anyone know if the sifter cables are different from a 5 speed or 6 speed altima?

I have an 02 altima SE 5 speed that I am converting to a HLSD 6 speed maxima trans. I have the shifter and cables out of an 03 maxima and know the shifter assembly will work fine but am unsure about the actual shifter cables themselves.

The question is can I simply re use my 5 speed shifter cables? OR can I use the Maxima shifter cables? OR do I need to purchase 6 speed Altima shifter cables from an SER model?

Yes - answered my own question. The mount is the same 5 speed to 6 speed altima and the cables will work with either transmission. The 5 speed shifter assembly will also work but it doesnt have reverse lockout. a 6 speed maxima shifter assembly will NOT fit...the bolt hole locations are different.
