Well I'm almost ready to fire up my new engine...but I cannot seem to get this transmission bracket to bolt into the chassis. I have my transmission on my stock s13 jack, the dinky thing, and my motor mounts are in and tight. The 2 buts that hold the bracket to the transmission are in tight. The the holes on the bracket and the chassis are about an inch off though and I can't seem to get them to line up. Also, I'm on the USDM drivers side under the car trying to bolt that in having problems, and when I'm looking at the other side, the bracket doesnt look like its going to fit at ALL. There is like a solid 2-3" gap between the chassis and the bracket. i don't even know what I'm asking anymore. I'm just confused Any tips I guess on putting this bracket on is appreciated...

CA18 mt crossmember is different than KA (if I'm remembering right)

CA sits high on pass. side, KA sits even. CA trans crossmember is bent to compensate.

What motor mounts / crossmember are you using?

after replacing my clutch on my 240sx i'm having the same problem, my transmission mounting bracket won't properly align with the unibody. I loosened the 4 bolts for the bracket that supports the engine to remove the transmission, but i didn't worry about that, and haven't thought about that until now, maybe there is slight adjustability in those bolts/ bracket that will allow me to move my whole motor/ transmission about half an inch/ inch to the left. i'll let you know, but as for now i'm still having an alignment problem with my transmission bracket

uhm i just forced that beeyyyooo***ch into place and bolted it down after i loostened the engine mount bolts loose and then bolted everything down tight, i thought that maybe becasue it was hanging so far to the left it would put vibration in my driveshaft, but apparently it hasen't. I haven't had any weird noises coming from my trans/ engine in THAT direction lawl, so everything seems to be in order when just forcing the tran mount back into it's place
