My J30's trans went out Saturday. Found a replacement on CL with 122k and the torque converter on it for 300 bux. Now I will finally replace the seeping rear main seal that has been on the to do list for years... Ha. Looking like we might get to 300,000 miles after all.

You might want to install an in-line transmission filter such as a Magnefine on the "new" trans to help prolong the life of the transmission.

Happy to say that as of this past Wed my J30 is back on the road!
