something in my drive train is to tight or going bad. when the car is jacked up and in neutrel the wheels wont spin. when im driving i can feel the strain on the motor. not a whole lot its just working to hard. and when i let off of the gas it doesnt cruise. it jults forward. if i put it in neutrel when i let off it will coast just fine.

Which car? Auto? Checked your brakes? E-brake?

the VLSD will put a slight strain on the drivetrain and make it difficult to spin by hand.

Personally sounds like you might need to flush the A/T fluid and replace the filter since you're having issues when it's engaged, but not when it's in neutral.

hah i bet i know this one. i had the same problem my car would do just about the same thing. if you removed the brake pads and put them in incorrectly it will do that to your car. i had a problem cuz i put them on the opposite sides of one and another. hope its just an easy fix like mine.
