I am sorry if there is another post about this.
I recently bought my 06 sentra Spec-V.I have had the car for about three weeks now and when I am shifting above 2K revs it almost grinds into second gear. It is also somewhat difficult to put into reverse and third on occasion. Also sometimes when I shift over 4500K into second gear it is fine.
The car has almost 100K miles on it. It is an AZ car and I am the third owner. I believe it may be the shifter bushings for the hard into gears. I am at a loss on the grinding as it is only the one gear?
I purchased 4 quarts of Royal Purple 75W-90 gear oil to swap into the transmission. It specifically says made for a LSD but I can not find any info on someone using it in the nissan?
Has anyone experienced this before and if so any info will help? If it is a bushing or an adjustment I can make to fix also I would appreciate any help.
