I was looking around for pricing on the JWT ecu upgrade and came across a JWT transmission chip upgrade for Maxima's I believe is there anything they can do for 240sx auto's???

no. the 240's automatic transmission is child's play compared to the maxima/Q45 transmission. all the electric tiptoetronic 6 speed whatmacallit gizmoes make the upgrade possible. the 240's automatic transmission is pretty freakin plain.

ok then what could I do to my auto to make it shift faster hold more power slip less etc???? I'm getting it repaired soon so it will be opened up to get the shift solenoids changed out. should I think about upgrading the solenoids or is that useless???

upgraded solonoids do wonders for shifting in 240's.

how so would actually increase my 0-60 times and 1/4 mile??? or just make it chirp the tires and make a lot of noise??? so to speak.

And if i did upgrade how would I know what to upgrade too? and where would I find these upgraded solenoids?

yea I unfortunately have an auto too and was wondering what kind of mods are out there to make the auto transmission kick a lil more

Take it out, put it on the floor, and kick it!

A selenoid upgrade will not be cheap. If you are able to do work yourself I personally would do the five speed swap.
