Transgo transmission kit......

I've been trying to find a dealer for the transgo reprogrammer kit for my car with no luck. Does anyone have any prior experience with this kit in a G?? HEY STEVE........the tech guru.......will it effect my car the way I think/want??...ie. good stiff or hard shift?? I'm trying to go F/I in the future so I'm not too worried about over doing it unless it will cause more harm than good. I know I can get it at GT Motorsports but it seems a bit steep plus the shipping. I'm too cheap to pay that much unless there is no other alternative.
