HI,
Can someone please provide some clarification regarding the transgo shift kit.
From what i've gathered from the FSM, the 2007 M45 uses the RE5R05A 5 speed automatic transmission. And for this transmission, Transgo lists the RE5RO5A-HD2 kit.

Is this the kit other users have installed?

I see that there is some drilling required?

Because you are modifying the valve body of the transmission, you really want to have this kit installed by a professional who knows how to do transmission work. Do you really want to chance doing something just slightly wrong or make a little mistake and have your transmission need replacing? Let a shop take that risk.

Dean has done this (DeanM45) - but you better be pretty handy with automotive/transmission work. I think he said you should use a drill press, don't wanna be eyeballing with a hand drill (there is drilling involved.) You might hit him up for some pointers if you think you're going to tackle this project on yourself.
