Transformers:The Game, Activision, listen up!

Well guys, I am a hardcore transformers fan and i went against the grain and bought it, heres my initial thoughts. Its an entertaining game, especially for fans, however it lacked, and lacked alot of substance. I like the graphics, concept and the destruction, but once again it lacked alot of substance. With this said I can honestly say I see so much potenial in this game, if there were to do a sequel, and really take their time with it, I forsee an amazing game! If they could pull off something like the matrix, where their games had their own unique storylines that also intertwined with the main story would really kickstart this lackluster game. Also if they let you choose to be any transformer you could possibly want, and each had their own storyline to follow through out the game, and maybe be set up like spiderman 2 and 3, where when your not doing the missions, you run around in a massive world where you either destroy or prevent things from destruction, that would be a big plus. Going more indepth into the attacks and combat would help alot too. A cool feature activision could have done, following the days of tony hawk is allow you to create your own transformer. I feel like it had everything but substance. The transformations were awesome, the voice acting was great, and the action was entertaining. I really hope these guys take the critizism, use it too their advantage and get their butts in gear cause I really believe this game overflows with potenial and I would hate to see it go down the drain

i bought the PC version, I don't game on consoles.

Activisions main attraction is making poorly done movie based video games. Granted i loved the ability to destroy almost anything in the game, and although it was really fun, yes it did get repetitive.

So in the end i think they need to find someone other then activision to make another transformers game. Instead of making you play a movie character, it would be cool to have a generic bot that could scan vehicles you find in the game and become those.
